Good Morning my Atkins buddies.... I am glad to announce that as of today, 1 week into Induction Phase ... I am down 8 pounds about 4". I am so excited. I didn't want to weigh myself till I hit my 14 day mark, but I feel so differntly. My DH told me over the weekend that my stomach sides feel a little firmer, I am losing my Love Handles (which he loves) & I don't look 8 months pregnant no more.
Although I wouldn't mind looking 8 months pregnant if I actually was.
Well, I am loving it. I am eating so much healthier and my DH and DD want to eat what I'm eating. But they are not on my DIet so they are not strict to it. over the weekend I made some Strip steaks, with some sauted onion & mushrooms, with a side of green beans and it was Delicious, and they loved it.
Anyway, I am now on week 2... I hope I can at least reach my mini goal of 250. That would be so wonderful. I do plane on goiung on Extended Induction till I hit at least 200 lbs, then I may go to the next phase.
Question... I wanted to add A1 Steak Sauce cause I noticed it had very low carbs... but I was 2nd guessing if I should or not so I didn't. Is it on the ok list? Also, if I have a sweet tooth.... I bought me a bucket of Cool WHip.... so if I want something sweet, I'll have me 1-2 tbs. Which helps alot... hope it's ok though.

I know you want to set a good example for your daughter, so remember to avoid those Frankenfoods (cool whip). Don't you love this WOE? 

fantastic Job!!! whipping the heavy cream...EXCELLENT suggestion Georgiana. that may be enough to get me through the next two weeks when i get a terrible craving... limited and in moderation of course.


i am seeing tons of posts on here that say... "is it on the list...NO..then dont eat it"...now.. mayo isnt on the list, and jello isnt on the list so we are allowed to eat it. Who decides that we are allowed to eat it? and what is the reasoning behind allowing certain things that arent on the list? And...what's not on the list that i can eat then??...(more food choices..woohoo
