ok just starting out again, tried fairly successfuly this time last year but fell off at xmas. so renewed vigour and away we go!!!

Must be strong through the yuletide season though this year!!

Welcome phat man. Have you read the DANDR book? If you don't have it go to the Induction threads and get a crash course in doing this right.

Everyone struggles with holidays. The trick is if you go off, get back on at the next meal--don't let it become a "might as well finish off the day and restart tomorrow" Tomorrow doesn't happen. Nip it in the bud.

Welcome to the Atkins Board.

I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase - I purchased a new copy (my old one was dog eared) 2 weeks ago on www.half.com for $1.05 including shipping -- at that price you can't afford NOT to get a copy!

Here are some tips and helpful links:

Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
