A goal without a plan is just a dream.

Small goals:
- Get serious.
- Love myself at 161lbs.
- Go for a walk everyday this week. Starting on 11/8/09
- Workout for at least 20 minutes everyday. (starting)
- Create a plan.
- Cancel junk food -

Hi Brittnoizers, This is a very supportive and informative group. How long have you been on Atkins? Have you read the 2002 book? That is the version of Atkins this site uses. Do you have any questions? Glad to have you on board.

Congratulations on starting. Join the discussion and share you experience. It helps you stay more motivated and it helps all of us as well.
There is a veggie challenge starting tomorrow that you may want to look at. There will be plenty of good ideas about how to eat veggies in there.

Welcome to the Atkins Board.
Glad you found the board and are excited about staring. First of all, Atkins is not a "diet" it's a way of eating over a lifetime. Once you learn how to eat this way you will wonder why you didn't start long before now. A few tips to help get you started: Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin - these are mandatory with Atkins so start now and get off on the right foot.
Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.
