I started doing induction 3 weeks ago and I have lost only 4 pounds, this really surprises me and frustrates me because I have 62 lbs. to lose and because I used to lose up to 5 kgs (11 lbs) in a week before I had my baby (who isn't one year yet). I've been very carefully with everything I eat, I don't eat any sweeteners at all, I don't eat bacon (because I haven't found one without sucrose) or mayo (because I live in Australia and here everything is sweetened), what I ate and I don't know if it has something to do with it, was 4 atkins advantage bars, 2 the first week and 2 the second week, I did lose some grams the next day after eating them, but then nothing, so I stopped buying them. Then, I decided to do the fat fast and I'm in the fourth day and have lost only 2 pounds?? I really can't believe it!! I love doing atkins because even though I haven't lost as much as desired I feel great and I find it very easy, in fact, after tomorrow (when I finish the fat fast) I'll continue doing extended induction, because I just love it, I find hundreds of recipes that I love and never get tired of anything, but is just the fact that I'm only 21 and I don't think my metabolism should be this slow. I have done 2 thyroid tests and everything's ok, I'm also doing some excercise so I really don't know if this is normal or what. If someone has been on the same situation I'd really appreciate the comments and everybody's opinion are welcome.
