  • Hello everyone. . .

Hi I am Cassie. I am a full time mother of a ten month old lil' girl who is allergic to practically everything. So I am still Breastfeeding but that also limits my food choices.

I am opting for the maintenance program so I don't overload my daughter with toxins.

I currently eat poultry, beef (depending how she reacts to it), fish, veggies, sweet potatoes and rice.

Not much in choices and I hope my daughter grows out of some of her allergies so I have a few more options. But until then. . . this is what I have to work with.

So if anyone have any meal suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

It is incredible to see a forum so supporting.

Hi Cassie! Gosh, I'm so sorry your baby seems to be allergic to everything! I'm curious, though - how was your doctor able to determine what your baby is allergic to as it appears in your breastmilk? This really has my interest piqued. I have a toddler who ate like a shark as an infant and never had a problem tolerating my milk, but she is allergic to eggs and only recently grew out of a peanut allergy.

Welcome Cassie -- Look at the acceptable food list to see if there are any other vegetables your baby can tolerate. Good luck.

Lethal allergies run in our family so our Ped. ordered a blood test early on. We are hoping she would grow out of them but so far each blood test just brings bad news. So she is still breastfeeding except for pears. Pears seem to be the only solid she can eat for right now.
