Hello Everybody!

Well I decided to join the site... I am on INDUCTION Day 7,,, 10 lbs down.. I weighed myself on my Wii Fit WOW! It wasn't easy but it sure works. Hope to get to know some of you on here, if I ever hit a snag maybe you can help LOL.

Welcome to the Atkins world.

Glad you found the board and are excited about starting the plan. First of all, Atkins is not a "diet" it's a way of eating over a lifetime. Once you learn how to eat this way you will wonder why you didn't start long before now. A few tips to help get you started: Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin - these are mandatory with Atkins so start now and get off on the right foot.

Make sure you read the book - it will give you the knowledge you need to get to your goal (2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution [DANDR]), eat only the foods on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables. I have lost a Wonderful 10 clothes sizes since starting 1/1/09 & beileve me, if I can do this at almost 47y/o with a limited ability to exercise do to having Lupus & Nerve Dammage after a Motorcycle Accident 5yr's ago you can do this tooooo !!!

We have have alot going on around here 24/7 it may be sharing our stories or giving & reciving information & we have a lot of fun in the process !!!
