Hey everyone, I'm Hannah. I have the book and I have read it cover to cover. When I began low carbing months ago, I found myself not counting, and just estimating. Nevertheless, I always had desert everynight. I stopped losing, began binging on heavy whipping cream mixed with splenda, and eventually lost control. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, and so I knew I had to kill it. I then went vlc. I ate mostly beef, with a few eggs here and there, and bacon was a treat. I felt incredible!!! However, I couldn't sustain it. I need more variety. So, here I am. With three days on induction, I am down 5.4 pounds. I drink only water, and still eat a lot of fatty meat, but having a salad, cheese, and other foods, is just AWESOME!!!

Hi Hannah,
Welcome to ADBB. Looks like you have done some work to find out what is healthy. There are many strange ways people try to loose weight at - some of them works for losing weight - but ruin other more precious things in the process.
I am glad you are here with Atkins we really try for low carb but the including healthy harbs and increasing them.
Glad you know some triggers there.
