Hi yall! After much research and seeing fabulous results happen with friends and family, I've decided to give Atkins a try! I started day one of induction yesterday!

Welcome to the Atkins Board.

Glad you found the board and are excited about starting the plan. First of all, Atkins is not a "diet" or a way to loose "a few pounds"...it's a way of eating over a lifetime. Make sure you read the book - it will give you the knowledge you need to get to your goal (2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution [DANDR]), eat only the foods on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables. A few tips to help get you started: Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin - these are mandatory with Atkins so start now and get off on the right foot. Hi , I just started back this past weekend.....I blew it last time because I was including wine in my induction, now i know better!! Good luck to you!!
