        When you look at Diet Coke just remember, it's one of the items you've been putting into your body that help make you overweight - it may say "Diet" but that doesn't mean it's good for you. Once you get off the soda your body will start feeling better.

        Get a glass you can drink out of everyday that you know exactly how much it holds. I have a 32 oz glass with a lid and straw - I fill it up first thing in the morning and start drinking.....(I prefer water from the fridge - not tap water) - I didn't "like" water when I first started Atkins but I read it in the book 64 ounces was mandatory daily -- so I made up my mind to do it. Many of us drink half our weight in water daily - the more you drink the more you loose.
