    Hello everyone, my name is Barrett and and am one week into Atkins. I am totally going by the book and in one week I have managed to drop 12 pounds. This is probably mostly water, but I am also exercising A LOT.

          Great news!! 12 pounds is 12 pounds no matter what! I'm glad you are following the book and are seeing good results. Remember to also drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water daily (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin - these are mandatory with Atkins so start now and get off on the right foot. Also, start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/
