This is my first experience with Atkins. I've tried diet aids and working out in the past, only to be disappointed when my mid-section continued to expand. I'm currently at 187 and my goal is to lose 50 lbs by summer '10, though I'll happily settle for 40 by that time.
I haven't tried a recipe yet that I didn't like and have found it very easy to stick to the diet thus far. Probably because the meals are so filling that I don't even think about grabbing snacks in between.
I'm not looking for a miracle 20 lb loss in 2 weeks or anything but, after reaserch and reading other success stories of this program, I'm confident that with time and determination, it WILL help me shed the pounds.
