    Re: Greetings!

It does not hurt. I think studies show that people who have support do much better than those who don't. So that is why we are here.

Welcome back to Atkins - and welcome to the ADBB!!

Make sure you drink enough water, eat the correct foods and exercise....all mandatory with Atkins. Do you have a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the edition we follow here.

If you need anything let us know -- we're all here to help each other.

hunger- i never feel full no matter how much i eat, boredom - i am not a fan of cooked vegetables and thought if i saw one more hard boiled egg or can of tuna id shot myself, and lack of progress- 3 months on induction and i lost 8 pounds (probably ate too much, but thats problem 1).

i don't have the 2002 book but i have read it in the past

            Re: Greetings!

It sounds like you need more variety in your meals.....hard boiled eggs and tuna do get boring....there are so many foods we can eat I rarely have the same thing over and over.

Have you found any recipes that you might like to make? Instead of staying on induction for 3 months move on to OWL and start adding food back to your daily meals....it will help keep you loosing.

                  Re: Greetings!

Keep cooked chicken in the fridge - you can dip it in mayo to keep feeling full. No sugar pickles help when I'm a little hungry and it only takes a couple of them (I like Mt Olive no sugar added bread & butter pickles). I also keep cut up veggies (cauliflower, celery sticks, broccoli & radishes) in a bag in the fridge that I can grab a few, weigh them and keep legal.

Hope you find something that works for you.

                    Re: Greetings!

The main thing that you can do, after 14 days of induction move on to OWL. You will never be successful staying on induction until you get bored.
