  • Ho Ho Ho!!

    Hi Everybody!

Its my first time on this forum but not my first time on the Atkins diet. I previously did this plan 5 years ago and lost 28 pounds. I can honestly say that I have never felt as well in my life as I did then.

I unfortunately regained the weight over the last 2 years mainly due to laziness and a new relationship..you know how it goes!!

I have since tried Slimming World and lost 42 pounds. I have put about 10lbs back on as I am no longer able to follow the Slimming World plan due to working on ships and lack of food choice.

So...I decided to bite the bullet and start Atkins again as it fits the available food really well. I am very motivated and have now done about 3 and half weeks. I am really enjoying my food and not even tempted to cheat!

So...thats me! Here goes nothing...watch this space.

    Just a quick question.

I ordered the DANDR book off amazon but was sent the 1999 version! Is there much difference between this and the updated version?

Better get the 2002 edition. It is the last one written by Dr. Atkins and includes all the changes he did to the plan since the previous edition was published.

There are significant differences between the 1999 and 2002 editions.
