    I am a 53 yo mom from TN who started Atkins on October 31, 2009 and have lost 25 pounds so far. Not only that, but I feel like a new person! No hunger, no cravings! The only problems I have are people trying to MAKE me eat sugar and head hunger. I need to lose weight for my health and it is now or never. I need all the support I can get! So glad to find this board.

    Starting weight: 274 pounds
    Current weight: 249 pounds
    Goal weight: 170 pounds

    Hi there and a welcome to you.Congrats on the weight loss you have had so far.Stay strong and avoid the forbidden foods people can do what they like we will be strong and have the willpower to not give in.All the best stay on plan and show them this is a lifestyle and not just a few weeks diet.

        Thanks Im sure you will do just as good.Remember we all have ups and downs even I did we must get back on track as soon as we slip.Picture your goal in your mind I used to have the image of me when I was slimmer that kept me going.All the best.

          Congrats on your weight loss so far, you are off and running! There is nothing more important than your health, and I am happy to hear you have made this positive change.
