  • Starting Over! Again!

Ok...So I have been here before trying to shed the weight. I have been heavy all my life and have a sturdy 5'7 frame that tends to hide a lot of my weight issues.

I did Atkins several years back and lost about 25 lbs and felt great, then went through some tough times and ate away my emotions...I am back on stable ground now and ready to reclaim my health. I am also a carb addict, and have VERY strong cravings that usually go away after the first week on Atkins, so wish me luck getting through the first week...If I can make it the first week, I might just have a chance at making it to my goal of 160.

Wish Me Luck...I am gonna need it!! Battle 1 Shelly vs the Carbs!
    Start: 260
    Current: 260
    1st Goal: 240
    2nd Goal: 220
    3rd Goal: 200
    4th Goal: 180

      Welcome Miss Shelly!

Glad to meet you. But let me just say, Luck has nothing to do with it. (I know---it's just an expression). Your best road to success is to be prepared.

      Have you read the book

Dr. Atkins in Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution, 2002 ed.

and the Induction links in the forum? You might as well start it right for the best success.

Let us know how we can help you.
