  • Day 1 in the Low Carb House...

    Hi Guys

    This is my first attempt at Atkins, I dabbled a little bit in Low Carb last year and lost 10 lbs but alas it is all back on (insert various excuses here)...
    Have been Carb Binging for the last 3 months enjoying myself before I went back on my Low Carb diet that was to start Monday but never happened....
    I had no intention of trying Atkins when I stumbled upon this site- I loved it! The recipes! The Banter! The Tips!
    So here I am... Excited, Determined and Eager....
    Bring it on!

    The best is yet to come...

        Glad you found the board and are excited about starting the plan. Make sure you read the book - it will give you the knowledge you need to get to your goal. If you can’t find a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) locally check online at www.half.com or www.amazon.com. Eat only foods listed on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables.         Plan your meals for a fews days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin daily. Look at the challenges to see if there is anything that interests you - start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/.             Aw thanks for such a warm welcome....
            Day 3 and with all the help from the induction recipe pages it doesnt even feel like I am dieting!
