  • Back for good

Hi everybody and Happy New Year. This is my first time here but not my first time with Atkins. Done it before always with success but then something happens and the cravings come back and then the sugar cheats. At that point I've just said that Atkins doesn't work anymore rather than own the cheating. Well this time I don't want to let that happen.

I realized I needed Atkins last Saturday when my husband and I went out to dinner. Split a medium sized antipasto salad then split a deep dish pizza. I easily ate my half and could have eaten more. In fact, after we got home I ate a low fat chocolate ice cream bar and some candy that I found. The next morning I realized I had been in full addiction mode and that this has got to stop and am now back!

Started last Sunday and am down 5 pounds. Of course that's giving me the incentive to continue. I am determined to stay the course and make it my WOE.

Thanks to all of you for being here and for letting me ramble on.
