  • Hello!!!

    So happy to be here. My name is Nichola. I plan on starting Monday due to having to move this weekend and I am just not dealing with the stress of that very well. I have been reading my book and the forums and I am very glad to see that this way of life works and so many of you have made it. I have to go pack more and look forward to Monday`s start.

    Nicola, welcome. What a pretty name. Where do you live in Canada?

    One secret to this WOE is to ever get caught without. Go shopping (alone) and read labels and serving size. You will be amazed at what you read. Stay away from anything with an Atkins label until after you are over with inductions.

          Hi and welcome!!

          Plan your meals for a fews days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin daily. Look at the challenges to see if there is anything that interests you - start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/.           Make sure you read the book - it will give you the knowledge you need to get to your goal. If you can’t find a copy of the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution (DANDR) locally check online at www.half.com or www.amazon.com. Eat only foods listed on the acceptable food list and eat a variety of foods and vegetables.               Thanks everyone for the warm welcome and words of advice. It is nice to have found a place where everyone can help each other, I do hope to be in that place one day. I plan on starting a journal soon.
