  • Back on the wagon!

    Round two. I fell off the wagon about 4 years ago after lossing 55 lbs on the Atkins diet. Now at 255 and need to get the weight off and keep it off this time. Having been though this before I would like to tell all the first timers its not that hard. I found that after induction the rest was easy. My mind and body were "trained" after the two weeks and ended up stay with the induction for two more weeks. Once off induction it seems like you have 1000's more choices for meals. I waited three weeks before I started exercising, slow at first, walking then jogging till I was out of breath, catch my breath and start running again. Anyway here I am again ready to kick this fat body into shape! Started 12/30, didnt want it to be a New Years thing. Good luck everyone.

    Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

    Good for you getting back on plan! This is a great place to be and you'll find all the support you want or need.
    Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron vitamin daily. There are so any different forums here there is something for just about everyone. Since you've done Atkins before you may enjoy the STAC (second time around club), they have a daily sign in that people enjoy Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. Make sure you are eating enough vegetables – vegetables are a huge part of your daily menu and is where most of your net carbs should be coming from.
