    Hi, last Monday I began my journey on the Atkins WOL with the Induction Phase in an effort to look and feel better. I've been holding strong keeping my net carbs under 20 and drinking around 100oz of water a day and I have to say I've never felt better! I'm normally a carb junkie and find myself hungry all day and constantly reaching for unhealthy snacks. After just one day I noticed that I never really get hungry. I eat 3 meals a day with 2 snacks, but if I feel like having one little extra snack, I do. I've been doing a workout video every day since and have lost 6lbs! For only being 8 days, that's pretty amazing to me. I'm no longer ever bloated and seem to have a steady stream of energy. I'm very pleased and am excited to see what the next few weeks reveal. I was a little concerned at first that I wouldn't see big results as I really only had about 15-20lbs to lose and the saying usually goes "the more weight you have to lose the more quickly it will initially come off" (I'm 5'4" and starting weight was 140, now I'm at 134). I'm not so much concerned with the scale as I am with the way I look and I definitely am more toned and fit in my pants better. I know the last 10'bs or so are always the hardest for anyone so I'm curious if anyone has had any difficulties losing weight once they've reached that mark? I'll make sure to check in again in another week to report what my progress has been!

    Congratulations on your weight loss and doing so well so far!! It IS amazing how much better we feel in just a couple days on this plan!

    Look at the challenges to see if there is anything that interests you. If you haven't already, start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/.       Congrats on your loss so far.With me it varies sometimes I lose a few lbs a week and sometimes I stall for weeks but I always hang in there because Im so close to my goal and Im determined to get there.
