    Going atkins again

Hi everyone,, I did this diet many years ago when it first became really popular and had great sucess with it...... so after what seems like a lifetime since then with many ups and downs in life, Im back to do it again. It was the ONLY diet Id ever done that actually worked, made me happy with the foods I could eat and was pretty easy to 'know' what I could eat and not.... not to mention I loved how I felt satisfied with the fattening wonderful foods I got to eat all while losing weight!

    Glad to be here!
Im 37 .. 5 foot 2..started atkins on January 4th 2010.. weighting in at 135 lbs and goal weight of 115 lbs

Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

Good for you getting back on plan! This is a great place to be and you'll find all the support you want or need. I hope you’ve read the 2002 DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) book it's the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase – check www.half.com or www.amazon.com.

Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron vitamin daily. There are so any different forums here there is something for just about everyone. Since you've done Atkins before you may enjoy the STAC (second time around club), they have a daily sign in that people enjoy Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. Also many people start a journal to keep track of themselves. It’s also a great place to meet new people http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/journal-chats/.

Check Linda's recipe site - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html. If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck.
    Carole

              Welcome!

You do have the book from last time, right? It would be a good idea to re-read it.
