  • Atkins Still the Best for Me

    I lost 7kg on Atkins in 2008 then half-heartedly stayed on it through 2009 but have put 2kg back on. This NY's resolution was to lose 9kg as I want to get back to my pre-motherhood weight of 60kg. So I just did some thorough online research in to all the diets out there, determined to find the best one. Guess what - it's Atkins! It is brilliant and works so well for me. I just have to follow it properly! So here I am 6 Jan 2010 at 69kg about to start 2 wks induction again on the way to losing that 9kg. Will keep you posted...

        Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

        Good for you getting back on plan! This is a great place to be and you'll find all the support you want or need.
        Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water daily, exercise and take a non-iron vitamin daily.

        There are so any different forums here there is something for just about everyone. Since you've done Atkins before you may enjoy the STAC (second time around club), they have a daily sign in that people enjoy Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. Also many people start a journal to keep track of themselves. It’s also a great place to meet new people http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/journal-chats/.
