      Okay recipe experiment #2

      Imitation french fries

1 cup of sliced jicama 4.7grams
2 tbsps reduced sugar ketchup 2g
      total carbs = 6.7g

fry jicama slices like you would homemade french fries.

      review:
close enough to kill the french fries cravings. yummy.

(I know for some of you 2g of sugar is too much but It doesn't slow me down)

      whatcha think?

              >>I know for some of you 2g of sugar is too much but It doesn't slow me down)>>

Was the "sugar" from the naturally occurring sugar in the tomatoes or was sugar in the list of ingredients?

Not sure, this are the ingredients as listed on the bottle:
"Tomato concentrate from red ripe tomatoes, distilled vinegar, salt, natural flavoring, onion powder, *Sucralose, spice. *Not in regular ketchup"

That is naturally occurring sugar, coming mainly from tomatoes.

What you need to stay away from is added sugar.

Don't forget to count each serving of ketchup as one serving of sweetener. Sweeteners are limited to 3 servings per day.

Re: Hello from Louisiana!! (second attempt)

Weel, I've completed my 14 day induction. Lost 11 pounds not great but it was totally my fault. I lapsed and ate a stick of boudin which I know set e back instantly. I also struggled with diet dr. pepper...*sigh...
anyhoo, Everyday is a struggle but I did realize one thing. I knew the days that I did not eat anything after 8 pm I would lose weight. So that old wive's tale is true in my book.

Another couple weeks and I will post "before" and "during" pics in that section to see if you guys can see a idifference. I will wait until I m 25lbs lighter tho.

Have you guys ever seen what a pound of fat looks like?
(not for squeamish eyes and not before you eat)

                    1LB OF BODY FAT

                    5LBS OF BODY FAT

it motivates me to think that I got rid of two of the big ones and one of the little ones.
