  • New here!

Hi there! I'm new here. I just started doing Atkins on 12/28/09. My mom suggested it as a way to do diet and exercise and still manage my blood sugar. So far it's working great! I'm loosing weight quickly and feeling good. I don't have crashes or cravings and I'm sleeping better than usual!

Not sure what I should say--I'm a freelance writer and blogger. I also have a mobile notary service. Married with two great kiddos. I'm also a home-schooling mom. When I get spare time, I play competitive ice hockey for some "me" time.

    Take care,
    Jessica

    Welcome!

You're reading Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution (2002), right?

    Cool on the hockey!

      Welcome aboard!

I homeschool too, I do love to come on here for support! I just enjoy reading other peoples success, it motivates me!

It really is the only "diet" (I hate calling it that) that has ever worked for me! I'm still trying to recover from Christmas (the pressure got to me!)
      I love ATKINS!!!

Thanks--the book is on the way, but I don't have it yet. I just went through the first two week book.

          Welcome to ADBB Jessica,
I'm glad that you are feeling good on this WOE/WOL . Do try and remember that this really is a Way of Life and not a quick fix diet.

I'm sure you'll read several times that you really need to read the book (2002 version Atkins New Diet Revolution) if you haven't done so yet. There is also a thread in the forums for diabetics that will help with any questions you may have.

Feel free to post and questions and visit often. We're a friendly group who will answer your questions honestly, but won't tell you what you want to hear.
