  • Continuing the journey

    Hello-
Having achieved success and stayed between 1/2-3/4 to my goal over the past few years (which made a huge difference in my life), and just coming out of celebrating the holidays too much, I'm making a committed push in 2010 to reach and stay at my goal. I see reaching my goal being another huge difference in many ways. While weight is one measure, overall fitness, health, appearance and lifestyle experiences are in my goal.
I started induction last night ('I'll start now not tomorrow') and bought groceries, including eggs which I had gotten turned off to a few weeks ago. I'm also drinking water per the Atkins book. And am headed over to the gym today - I've been going regularly for a couple months which is great.
This board has always been a tremendous source of information and inspiration.
I'm looking forward to a great 2010 and beyond! And wishing you all the best as well!

Welcome back -- you don't HAVE to eat eggs....there are plenty of other foods you can eat, breakfast can be anything, not just eggs. Hopefully you'll vary your foods so you don't burn out on a certain food again.

              Good luck!

Thanks and you're right. I'm good with eggs again. LOL it was one time I got the idea to save half an broccoli and cheese omelette and then re-heat it later. Reheated it was a really foul greasy dish... lesson learned!
