    I started my journey on 1/7. Already my sugars have improved tremendously. I am hoping the morning sugars will improve soon too! Of course I am looking forward to weight loss but my main goal for now is sugar control and hoping to get off of some of the medications.

    Welcome to ADBB Marmy Good job on your results so far, and a very worthwhile goal to be sure.         Hi and welcome Marmy!!

        Your fasting sugar test will get better!! It takes a little time, depending on your body, your meds, etc, but you'll find you'll be feeling better and loosing weight real soon! My A1C went from 10.3 last December to 5.3 last month when I saw my endocrinologist....I'm now considered "under control with diet"....

        Follow the plan to the letter to give yourself the best chance on the plan. Drink a minimum of 64 ounces pure water daily, exercise - start slow if you aren't use to exercise - and take a vitamin without iron.
