    Hello!

Hi! Just started the diet a week ago. In the army and eating at the chow hall right now until I get back to my duty station, so food choices are rather limited. Figured I'd give it a shot just the same. See ya!

      Re: Hello!

      Welcome to the board!

Being in the service can be a challenge when you have little choice in what you eat. I hope they have a lot of good Atkins choices for you.

Let us know how you're doing.

          Re: Hello!

Good luck -- try to eat the Atkins friendly things in the chow line (nothing breaded or with gravy, and stay away from the desert tray!!) opt for salads, fresh vegetables and non-breaded meat. Make sure you drink a minimum of 64 ounces pure water daily ad take a vitamin without iron. Being in the service you should be getting enough exercise, but make sure you do!

          Good luck
