  • Hi

Hi to everyone. I am a 36 year old long time yo-yo dieter who gives up after any success at losing weight. I have been overweight most of my adult life. My 40 year old husband and I have decided we want to have more children this late in the game and I know that will be crazy for us to do it, if I am so overweight when we conceive again. I feel like time is working against me and I need to lose weight at a steady rate. I want to be sure I do all I can to have a healthy pregnancy. I have miscarried 3 times so I am high risk anyways. We would like to try for a pregnancy in August. I want to lose 60 lbs before that. I can use all the help I can get in this area.
Thanks for reading this and I hope to get to know you better.

    Re: Hi

    Welcome to ADBB!

The best thing you can do is follow the plan as written. For this, I hope you have a copy of Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002). That's the book you need.

It's great that you are planning everything out because it's the people who don't make a plan and stick to it that fail. Keep us posted on your progress!
