Hi all,
I'm Gill, I'm a 45 year old holistic therapy student. I also suffer from fibromyalgia which I find the Atkins improves
... bonus!!
My friend & I both started the Atkins in September & lost around a stone each. We foolishly decided we would just have a little of what we fancied over Christmas "but not go mad" ... needless to say that was a big mistake!!! So, having put half that weight back on here we go again, back on induction.
I'm back at 12 stone 2 lbs which on a 5'1" frame isn't good, aiming to lose at least 2 stone for the summer.
The things I find hardest are 1) breakfast. I struggle to eat first thing in the morning & soon became sick of the sights of cooked breakfasts & omelettes, so I need to find some alternatives. And 2) lunchtimes at college - we only have a 30 min lunchbreak & theres no canteen, so its packed lunches. With the cold weather I need to find alternatives to salads.
Anyway, I'm determined & ready to get on it again!! So spare tyre it's time to say goodbye lol!
