  • Hello everyone I am Jenn

Today is the first day of the rest of my life and induction LOL

I am a 36 mom of one boy (11). I live in Nappanee, IN, but grew up on Long Island, NY.

My self image has always been somewhat warped and when I was a teen I always thought my 120 lbs, 5'3" body was fat. LOL what I would do to be that fat again. I am now 232 lbs. The years have gone on and I just keep creeping higher and higher. I am shocked that I have done this to myself.

My goal is to get healthy, get moving and change my lifestyle....FOREVER!!

Anyway thanks for letting me babble on.

Re: Hello everyone I am Jenn

                Good luck to you!

Eat only foods listed on the acceptable food list http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...induction.html (What foods can be eaten on Induction?) make sure you eat a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs”. Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Check Linda's recipe site it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. Start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/. There’s something for everyone here!

If you need anything we’re here to help you!!
