    Hi everyone..been here before..I lost weight with Atkins before..was doing so well then I got off track and never got back on..gained the weight back..I have tried other diets and this seems to be the only way that I can lose weight..since I have gained this weight I've had to start taking high blood pressure medicine and I'm borderline diabetic..I'm excited about doing this again and can't wait till I start losing and can get off all the meds that I am taking..

    Welcome! Good luck and commit yourself to a clean induction. I don't know if you have the book but if not please find a copy. There is so much support on this board. I hope stop in daily because if you have a question or struggle it's almost guaranteed that it's been posted before. Plan your meals ahead of time and it will help greatly. Also, use fitday.com to track your food and enter EVERYTHING in there. God Bless and good luck

        Hi and welcome back to Atkins --

        Good for you getting back on plan! This is a great place to be and you'll find all the support you want or need. I hope you have the 2002 DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) book it's the edition we follow on this site. Exercise, take a non-iron vitamin and drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure. Check Linda's recipe site - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over --

        Since you've done Atkins before you may enjoy the STAC (second time around club), they have a daily sign in that people enjoy Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet.
