    Hello!

Hi, I'm Olivia. I'm a 22 year old college student who has been struggling with my weight since I've been a child. I've never been more than about 10-15 pounds overweight, and currently am a normal weight. But I am in constant fear of gaining, and I'm tired of my constant yo-yoing with low calorie, low fat diets. Currently I am 5'4 and 135 pounds, and I hope to lose 10-15 pounds. I'm glad to be here!

    Re: Hello!

    Welcome, Olivia!

Since you have little weight to lose, I would suggest you start Atkins in OWL, so that you have time to progress through OWL and Pre-Maintenance before you reach your goal weight.

Are you reading Dr. Atkins' New Diet Revolution (2002)? All phases of Atkins are explained there, as well as the science behind the plan.

For Pre-Maintenance and Maintenance, I recommend reading Atkins for Life.

      Re: Hello!

I second what Georgiana says. Start with Ongoing Weight Loss.
      JILL

      HW 298
      HW (this time) 248
      GOAL ONE 228
      (take 2)
      GOAL TWO 213 (personal goal)
      GOAL THREE 199 ONE-DERLAND
      FINAL GOAL 165

It's not about the results. Its about the process.

            Re: Hello!

Welcome -- good luck to you...just remember, Atkins is a lifestyle, not a diet so once you get to your goal weight you should know how many carbs you can eat daily and maintain your weight.
