  • Today Is Day One of my new lifestyle

    My name is Kenny and I have decided to take on this lifestyle not only to lose weight, but to live healthier and feel great. I am afraid of failing because I know it is difficult, but I feel like I can get the support and advice I need from this forum. This diet goes totally against what this world that we live in says to do. I think that is what intrigues me so much. To **** with everyone, I am going to do this!

    Hello and welcome Kenny! Do you have a copy of Dr Atkins' New Diet Revolution 2002, which is the book we use on this Board? If not, you can get a really cheap copy on Half.com ($5 or less, including shipping).

        There's nothing to be afraid of...read the book, eat the proper food, drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure water daily, take a vitamin and exercise...it's really easy!

        Make sure you're eating the correct amount of veggies everyday - you 20 or less carbs daily should come mostly from veggies....don't forget to count other foods that have carbs.

        You'll do fine....we're here if you need any questions answered and for any help you need.
