  • Hi from the uk

    Hi everyone

I am Tracy, I live in the UK. This is my second time on Atkins! I lot two stone in 2004 and kept it off really well untill.............. I accidentally fell pregnant with a third child!

He was born in 2006 and I have struggled since keeping my weight stable. I have now reached a weight that is higher than my pregnancy weight, so here goes. I have booked a family holiday to the states in May 2010 and really am desperate to loose at least a stone and a half before we go.

Soo hello and here we go, wish me luck!!
    Kind regards

    Tracy x

Hi and welcome back to Atkins Tracy --

Good for you getting back on plan! This is a great place to be and you'll find all the support you want or need. I hope you have the 2002 DANDR (Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution) book it's the edition we follow on this site. Exercise, take a non-iron vitamin and drink a minimum of 64 ounces of pure. Check Linda's recipe site - it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over --
      http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

Since you've done Atkins before you may enjoy the STAC (second time around club), they have a daily sign in that people enjoy Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet. Also many people start a journal to keep track of themselves. It’s also a great place to meet new people http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/journal-chats/.

If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck.
      Carole
