  • hi there newbie from uk

hi there everyone, my name is jo and i live in the uk ive tried many diets in the past year and succeeded a couple of times to lose weight but have never been able to maintain my weight. i spent 2009 trying various diets and ended the year 2lb heavier than when i started!!
i have never tried atkins although my sister lost 45 lb on it and has maintained, i just thought it wasnt very healthy( how wrong was i ???)
anyway i deciced to give it a go and am currently on day 9 of induction and so far ive lost 8lb which im pleased about, i id a liquid diet before this and had lost a few lbs doing this but it made me so moody and hungry!!

im finding it ok at the minute but am so pleased to have found this web site as it has loads of ideas for meals which im lacking( no imagination)
im looking forwar to sharing my weight loss journey and picking uo hints and tips along the way!!

a little bit about me, i live in the uk with my partner darren and my 4 boys ages 15yrs,11yrs and 2 and half year old twins . i work as a paediatric nurse part time and love it, its just the best job in the world.
    thanks for reading

welcome -- hopefully you'll stick with Atkins as a lifestyle change and stop yo-yo'ing on unhealthy diets.

Eat a variety of foods listed on the acceptable food list, exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily.

If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck to you!
