Hi All-
I am finishing up my 3rd day of induction- the headaches started yesterday and tonight I started with the nausea and leg cramps. Blech. Hard to believe that something that's supposed to be good for me leaves me feeling so cruddy.
I have been reading the atkins.com site to learn the program.
I think I need to up my veggies- I am drinking 60+ oz of water a day- starting vitamins tonight I wasn't as hungry today as I was on days 1 and 2- here is a sample menu-
egg whites with cheese and veggie sausage (now I think I wasn't supposed to eat this kindof sausage on induction) 5 nc
atkins bar- 2 nc
lunch- I was out and grabbed a burger with cheese and bacon .5 nc
broccoli with alfredo sauce 2 nc
big salad with spinach, ham, cheese, ranch, egg, avocado-5 nc
atkins bar- 3 nc
17.5 net carbs.
I know my body is detoxing- I'm just looking for some reassurance that I'm doing alright so far.
Seems like a great + supportive and active board. Looking forward to learning more

) Here we follow the Atkins book form 2002 called the new diet revolution. So our recommendations are based on that book. We are not sure that what the company is doing is better for the people on the diet of for their own bottom line.
