  • Ready to make a change!

    Hello,
    I have noticed since I started a new career (law enforcement) that I have been gradually gaining weight. I am a stress&boredom eater and that pretty much sums up my job. While the weight gain is of course an obvious vanity issue, I have recently begun to worry more about my fitness and mobility if/when I will need to defend myself. Sometimes lately I have consumed so much food that my belly looks like I am pregnant (until it digests) yet I still continue to munch! It would be a great shame to become seriously injured or worst because I lack the self control or personal responsibility to take care of myself.
    I have tried a few "diets" over the years with varying results but I noticed that usually when I have restricted processed carbs and sugars, I lose the weight. I hope to ween myself off of bad carbs and truly make a change.
    I look forward to meeting new people and helping as much I take from everyone.

      Yes sounds like you have to rethink your relationship to foods. Just do it.
