Hi everyone!
I am 39 years old and am probably one of the most unhealthy people I know. I smoke, I dont exercise, and normally I eat whatever I want.
I just finished the major part of my battle with breast cancer and now it is time to get HEALTHY!
I will be having surgery this spring and am on a bit of medications right now.
I look forward to getting to know you all. I am excited to get going.
Today is my first day. My first major acoplishment (sp) is no sugar in my coffee! Normally I drink about a pot of coffee a day, each cup (probably 16 oz) I put about 2 tbs of sugar. So just having coffee with NO sugar is great for me.
I am reading a lot, to make sure I do this right.
I would love some suggestions as I have a major sweet tooth and always find I want something sweet after I eat.
I see a lot of banners on the bottom of everyone's posts and would love to have one too. So feel free to send it to me.
I have stocked up the house with good healthy foods that are appropriate for induction. I am still a little unclear on a lot, so I am running to the computer to double check.
I see a lot of you have set mini goals, I will be doing them later tonight or first thing tomorrow.
