I think you have to do what works for your body. That being said this board is for the 2002 Atkins plan and most adhere to it by the book, literally
So don't be surprised when you get some negative fb about doing it your way not strictly the Atkins way. The plan works when you work the plan, start tweaking it and you get into dangerous territory. Since you don't have much to lose it may not matter in the long run but for others reading I'm sure they want to stress how important sticking 100% to plan is, especially in induction.
Have you checked out other more generic low carb chats? Might get more of the personal support for your style of dieting there. Please don't take that wrong, everyone is more than welcome to stay and post, I haven't been posting long myself, though lurking for quite some time. Just not sure you will find the level of support you want/need here.
Whatever you decide good luck on your goals, you sound like you are well on your way.
