Hi Health Nut. I've also started again - after a five year break.. I had a couple kids and I'm also looking for people who are in the same boat. I want to lose about 50lbs I would LOVE to be able to do it by summer. I'm not as "orthodox" as I need to be ( I've been eating nuts and drink coffee) I have been in ketosis though and feel like I don't need to stop my seemingly bad habits - the only problem I'm having is that I feel induction flu all the time - always tired and achey. Well, I'm an old pro at this too. I have a health food store in Omaha, Ne I actually knew Dr. Atkins. At one time we had a banner in our window that said " Low Carb Superstore!" I would "unofficially" council people on the diet. I stayed in fantastic shape while I was on the diet. I got preggers and decided to be in denial and gained 50lbs... I also now have hypothyriod ( that is when most of the weight piled on as I was undiagnosed for quite a while - I was told I had post-partum, SAD, blah blah. I had to figure it out myself! My dr. felt pretty silly for mis diagnosing me with the common symptoms I had! Anyway, I know this works. I hope I can be a help to you sometime - I also need support quite often!

welcome -- follow the plan the way it's written (not a "version" of it) and you'll have great results.
