Welcome to Atkins and the board!

Your hunger should go away shortly. Just give you body time to register what you've eaten and keep those extras legal. I'm sure you will do well. Keep us posted on your progress!

      Re: DAY ONE go me!!!!

      Good morning and welcome!

Make sure you eat a variety of foods and vegetables and count all “net carbs”. Plan your meals for a few days so you have everything in your home and you won’t be tempted to eat something not allowed. Check Linda's recipe site it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily. Start a journal, it's a great place to get everything out in the open, be accountable to yourself - you'll also meet some great people there! http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...journal-chats/. There’s something for everyone here!

If you need anything we’re here to help you!! Good luck to you!

          Re: DAY ONE go me!!!!

thanks everyone, just starting day two, I had a massive plate of chicken wings with nothing on them and a plate of steamed broccoli for dinner last night, it was lovely, I'm having a massive steak tonight with some cauliflower. I did, however, have a blinder of a headache last night but woke up quite a bit more energetic today and I actually feel less bloated...well only 70 more pounds to go!!!
