    Not much of my carbs have come from vegetables. I downloaded several recipes last night and plan to hit the store.

    My water intake has been 1 bottle with each meal. I'm trying to choke down more but my stomach just doesn't like it. Threw out my soda supply last night. Going to try cold turkey. This ought to be interesting considering my other issues I've had to admit this morning.

    My headache was gone. I didn't wake up tired. I didn't gain my 3lbs back. I threw out my sodas. I "saw" recipes I'm going to try to add vege carbs to my life. I added to my journal.

    Here's to looking at the water glass as half-full.

      Instead of drinking a bottle with a meal, it might be easier to drink a bottle throughout the day.

        I'm trying that as we speak.
        I threw out the sodas but added Crystal light. Don't know if its better but if it helps ween of the sodas, i'm going to try.

          You are aware that Crystal Light does not count as water though, right?

          What is it about sodas that you like? The sweet taste, the bubbles?

            I don't know what it is. I don't think it's the sweet or the bubbles. I think its just habit -- like a cigarette after a meal for those who smoke.

            I know it doesn't take the place of water but trying to ween myself off of my 27 year addiction to diet coke will not be easy. I've never drank coffee, etc. in the morning. Always had a bottle of diet coke.
