        Welcome -- glad to have you and your lady join us!

        Have you read the 2002 Dr Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the edition of his books we follow on this board.

        My best advise is to eat a variety of food so you don't get bored eating the same thing over and over. Check Linda's recipe site it will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- http://www.genaw.com/lowcarb/menus.html.

        Exercise, take a non-iron multivitamin and drink a minimum 64 ounces of pure water (nothing added), daily.

        Good luck making your way through to your goal.
