  • Hello everyone! Starting Atkins today..

Just wanted to say hello to everyone! Special hello to everyone in the North Texas area!

    Just a little about myself.

Been big all my life, played college football (Offensive lineman) but have no use for the weight now, have been on every diet known to man, ready to get serious and lose it. Lift weights 3 times a week but hardly ever do any cardio. Married with no kids....yet.

I currently weigh ~328lbs and my goal weight is 240. Seeing all the successful profiles is such a great inspiration.

Welcome to the board MeanGreen! (Your name isn't Joe is it? LOL)

You have found a great group of people willing to support each other. Since you played football, you probably have some good muscle mass to help burn that fat off. Inefficient muscle (in relation to energy burning) is our friend.

          Good luck!
          Jim

Yes I'm eating a smore in the picture, how do you think I got so fat?

Ah, but that is why we are here! We'll help you through it!

Be sure you're drinking lots of water and take your vitamins! If you get a headache take some aspirin and you'll get thru the induction flu in no time!
