I am just so happy to have found this site, and hello to everyone else on here. I am 35, and had 60.5 pounds to lose. I am on Day 4 of Induction and have lost 4 pounds so far, so I guess I have 56.5 pounds to go! I am not hungry, and even forgot lunch yesterday (something very unusual for me). I found a great drink though for evening - I crushed ice and mixed it with my 3 carb protein drink, tasted like a milkshake! Best wishes for everyone here, looking forward to keeping it up.

Try not to skip meals. Preplanning really helps.
Be careful with those shakes. They make me stall (stop losing weight for a whole week).
Make sure you drink LOTS of water.

Congrats on the weight loss so far!
I second watching the shakes. Make sure you read the ingredients for them as they often have ingredients that are aren't acceptable for induction. They are renown for causing stalls.

Welcome to the board, Jane!
Do you have the 2002 edition of the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution? It's the version we use here and is invaluable to success on our journey.
The shakes aren't allowed on the Induction phase of Atkins. Be sure to check out the Atkins Phases of the board for a list of what you can and can't have for the first 2 weeks. You will be allowed the shakes later on but for now, they will slow your progress and we don't want that to happen.

What are the ingredients in the "protein drink"? And did you add some fat to it?
