I decided to join the bulletin board this time around on Atkins. I think it will help me!
Weight has been a MAJOR struggle for me all my life. I was always chubby as a kid and then in high school I decided to do something about it. I started Weight Watchers in 2003 and lost about 45 pounds in a year and a half. I met my fiance in 2003 and he was a great support, since I graduated high school in 2004, I managed to put on all the weight plus more...
due to being comfortable, not really caring, letting my tastebuds control my life, and being lazy.
In 2003 I started at 190lbs, went down to 145lbs then balooned up to my largest ever, 224lbs last January. Last January I started losing weight with just eating healthy and got down to 203 by May 2009. Then it's all been up and down from there, going up to 224, down to 205, then back up to 218 and all over the charts.
I started Atkins in September 2009 and went from 218 to 204 in 3 weeks. Man that felt good. Then I tried to make my own sort of diet and that didnt really work, then the holidays came and I ate EVERYTHING, and here I am now. Back at almost square one....I MUST lose weight and get healthy before my wedding in October, so I better get focused.
I am hoping to get more inspiration to stay on the right track with food through this forum. I am really good with exercise (I workout about 4 times a week right now)...I'm just looking to fget back on track with the Atkins diet. I felt sooooo great on it last time!
