Welcome spookee !!! :wave

It is tough doing Atkins on your own, but tune in - someone is always browsing through the forum - be it from the US, the UK or the rest of the world.

It will be tough getting through the first few days of Induction, but remember, we're always here to cheer you on. If you're tempted to cheat, or your cravings are getting to you, or you feel like you're getting sick (Induction flu), just remember it will pass - hang in there. And if you're desperate, post a chat and someone will be happy to help you through!

I remember how hard it was to give up my favourite carbs and sugars, and I didn't find ADBB till much later - but I'm so glad I did!

Cheers.

Welcome to the board! Sometimes tough love is what we need!

You have found a great source of motivation, inspiration, and support. Look around at the many forums. Check out the century club, it is made up of all people with 100 pounds or more to lose (or have lost).

You can do this! Good Luck!

Oh, and you should post some stats about yourself (i.e. age, gender, height, and weight) which will help the experts around here answer your questions better.

Welcome Spookee! :wave

Yes, hearing those words is a WAKE UP CALL, but the good news is, lots of people on this board have had extraordinary success and so can YOU!

Hope you've read THE BOOK (DANDR) .. following it to the "T" is required!

Let us know how we can help!

Welcome to the board Spookee! I'm glad you found our corner of the web.
You will be so inspired here. Come on over to the Century Club. You will find a wonderful group of 'Losers' to hang out with and all your questions will be answered.

I heard those very same words from my Doctor last year. It scared me to death. But Reading DANDR 2002 version and coming to the Board as often as possible has been my saving grace. My Doctor is amazed and happy for me..my family is relieved, and I am excited about life again!

You can do this, and together, we can all make a difference.

I wish you much success!!

Hugs,Tammy

Welcome to Atkins. I know the feeling about needing to lose weight in order to live longer. I came to the point that I realized that if I didn't lose the weight I would probably die young. I have children and want to be there for them in the future.

You made the right choice. This is the only thing I have ever done that has really worked.

Take care & hope to hear good news from you soon.
