  • I'm baaaaccckkk!...again

Well here I am again. This time I think with enough motivation to keep going. It's been almost four years since I did the plan for more than a couple of weeks. I looked in my running log and I hadn't run in about 2-1/2 years, due to injury and plain old laziness, but I fixed that 2 days ago with a five mile run. (66 minutes, slow but not bad).

I could make every excuse in the world, the stress of my daughters illness (original falloff), job loss (2 years ago, now dreadfully underemployed), or any host of other reasons, but there are no excuses. The only thing that matters is if you want this enough. I think that maybe now I do.

Been lurking for the last few days. It's nice to see some old familiar faces and names, and I look forward to meeting the rest of you.
    Jim

I understand what you are saying. I seem to go through cycles where I am great and others where I dont want it enough. I keep trying though, same as you. Best of luck on your journey and WELCOME BACK!
