Hi,
I thought I had better introduce myself. My name is Kim, I am a 28 year old single mum (to a 2 year old daughter) living in Manchester UK.
I decided to do this diet after lending the atkins book from my brother and becoming intrigued with the idea of actually eating nice foods on a "diet"!
I was always a chubby child and then commenced yo-yo dieting in my teens where I would swing from one extreme to another. I did manage to get this under control until I became pregnant and put 5 stone on!
I have been battling to get it off ever since (with limited success, still another 3 stone to go) and would just like to eat healthily and non-obsessively for once in my life and get to, and maintain, a healthy weight.
So here I am and this seems to be the way to do it. Am currently on day 10 of induction and not finding it as difficult as I thought I would
Also I have lost 5 pounds in week 1 so very pleased with that!
Kim x
