  • new w/ great expectations!

    Hi everyone
I'm new to the boards - have been on Extended Induction for 5 weeks. Lost 11 lbs in the first 3.5 weeks, but have stalled since then... feeling frustrated with 10 days of no loss. Am I expecting too much? Any words of advice or encouragement?
    Thank you!

    Welcome --

We consider a "stall" 4 consecutive weeks without weight so you have paused, not stalled. Many people find moving to OWL Rung 1 and add 5 net carbs of veggies ot your daily meals.

Are you drinking enough pure water daily? 64 ounces is the minimum and more is even better to help flush the toxins and fat out of your system. Are you only eating foods on the acceptable food list and nothing else? It would be helpful to post a few days meals so we know what you are eating and possibly offer suggestions to help you.

Welcome to the board! And congrats on your loss so far!

Don't let a slow down discourage you because it happens to most of us. Just keep working the plan was as written and you will start losing again. Otherwise you will end up back where you started and no one wants that because, even you wouldn't lose any more weight, you are better off now than before you started. So be patient and you will be rewarded.

It's very normal to have this little hesitation time, Stay off the scales for awhile and instead find a tight pair of jeans and see how they fit. You might be pleasantly surprised.
If you really feel there might be something wrong, post what you ate yesterday and have the experts have a look.
